Born in Pennsylvania on September 2, 1867, Reckless Harry Alozo Longabaugh (AKA the Sundance Kid) moved to Cortez, Colorado with his cousin when he was only 15. In Colorado, he found work as a wrangler and learned to buy and breed horses. When Harry was twenty he stole a gun, horse, and a saddle from a cowboy near Sundance, Wyoming and was later captured in Montana. Harry served 18 months in jail for the crime. After his release Harry would go by the name Sundance or the Sundance Kid.

In 1897, Harry met up with Harry Logan (Kid Curry) and they robbed the bank in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Both men were captured and jailed in the Deadwood jail until three months later they were able to escape.

Soon after, Harry would meet up with Butch Cassidy and join the Wild Bunch and move to the Robber’s Roost in Southern Utah. Sundance participated in multiple train robberies with the gang. In 1901, Butch, Sundance Kid, and Etta Place traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina aboard the British steamer Herminius. On November 7, 1908, The Sundance Kid and Butch Cassidy were killed in a shootout in Bolivia. Legend has it that they survived and returned to America not to die until 1936.
